What College Mentors for Kids means to Me?

"College Mentors gave me the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students from unique backgrounds that are different from my own. Hearing their stories and spending time with these kids from an outside of the classroom experience. These students have inspired me to pursue teaching in an urban setting and continue to commit time to the community that I teach in"
- Megan, Mentor and General Manager
"These kids are our future; they give me so much hope and shed so much light and love on my life. These kids teach us so much and working with these children have been life-changing."
- Nathan, Mentor

"College Mentors for Kids has been a fantastic expereience and I have learned so much in my time apart of the program. I have learned what it means to be a role model for a child , how to care for and bond with my buddy and even how I might be as a future ISU teacher when I graduate . I am very thankful for this program and I will always remember the children I met and the friendships I've made and the things i have learned."
- Amanda Mentor and Genreal Manager

'"Activity on Thursday is the highlight of my week! I love getting to see all the awesome buddies enjoy spending time with their mentors and learning more about the world and college! I think everyone should experience being apart of College Mentors for Kids even if you are not used to working with kids"
